We chose a powdered format for ease of use as both a food topper and a broth. The powder is shelf-stable, convenient, and allows for controlled hydration when mixed with water.

Q: At what age can I start giving my dog Chicken Bone Broth?
We recommend Chicken Bone Broth for any dog over 3 months old.
Q: How much Chicken Bone Broth do I give my dog?
We recommend one scoop (½ tbsp) of Chicken Bone Broth Powder for every 25lbs of body weight. A 10lbs dog would receive one scoop. A 40lbs dog would receive two scoops. We always recommend easing into the full serving size during the first week. Either sprinkle powder on top of kibble or mix well with warm water. If mixing with water, mix ¼ cup of water for each ½ tbsp of powder.

There is no added sodium or calcium in our Chicken bone broth. The natural sodium level is roughly 35 mg/TBSP. The natural calcium level is about 1 mg/ TBSP.

There is no added sodium or calcium in our Chicken bone broth. The natural sodium level is roughly 35 mg/TBSP. The natural calcium level is about 1 mg/ TBSP. Type II collagen is about 70% of the dry weight, or about 4 g/ TBSP. We have not analyzed our Chicken bone broth for glucosamine or chondroitin content.

We don’t currently know of any negative interactions with common medications, but we ALWAYS recommend consulting your veterinarian whenever adding new supplements to your dog’s diet.

Yes, our Chicken Broth is manufactured in an SQF-certified facility and follows all cGMP guidelines. Chicken Broth production follows HACCP, GMP, SQF guidelines.
Q: Can my pet overdose?
No. The ingredients are not toxic to dogs, even if they consume the entire canister. They may experience some diarrhea or discomfort for a day or two, but they will be okay. We purposely keep the dosage low to prevent any issues in the event your dog gets into the entire canister. If your dog shows any signs of discomfort, we always recommend reaching out to your vet.
