Product Overview
Q: What does GutWell Power Poop do and how does it work?
GutWell Power Poop helps support stool quality and overall digestive health by balancing your dog’s gut microbiome with a targeted triple-biotic blend and clinically-proven ingredients. This is best for dogs with soft stools or irregular bowel movements.
Q: What makes GutWell Power Poop different from other products in the market?
A. GutWell Power Poop is the only triple-biotic digestive health dog supplement on the market, making it more effective than probiotics alone for combating loose stools. Our In house, board-certified Veterinary Nutritionist carefully crafted a formula with a triple-biotic blend of pre, pro, and post biotics and functional ingredients specifically selected for their digestive health benefits.
Many popular dog foods and supplements on the market are filled with starchy fillers and artificial ingredients that can throw the gut microbiome off balance, making digestive issues worse. Packed with active ingredients and zero fillers, every component is chosen for its health benefits—nothing unnecessary, just what your dog needs. GutWell is made with a proprietary cold-pressed process that keeps the ingredients at their best, ensuring maximum potency with minimal processing. Made with tasty and healthy pumpkin and pork plasma - every ingredient, even our inactives, has a purpose.
Q: Is it safe to use GutWell Power Poop with other Native Pet supplements?
We don’t recommend combining multiple GutWell products at one time or feeding GutWell alongside Wondergland or Pumpkin. Each GutWell formula contains a precise dose of prebiotics, and combining it with another product rich in fiber could cause stomach upset.
Q: Do you recommend pairing GutWell Power Poop with any other products?
GutWell Power Poop pairs well with our Colostrum for added digestive health benefits. For a full body health routine, we also recommend adding The Daily and Omega Oil. You can also take our quiz to find your dog’s personalized routine (+ you’ll get $5 off!)
Q: What flavor is GutWell Power Poop?
All GutWell products are made with a tasty base of pork plasma and pumpkin for a taste your dog will love.
Q: Who formulated GutWell Power Poop?
GutWell was expertly formulated by our in-house Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionist, Dr. Dan Su.
Q: Can I use GutWell with my dog’s current probiotic?
GutWell is already packed with the right probiotic strains for targeted stool and digestive health benefits, so there’s no need to double up if you are already giving your dog a probiotic for those reasons. Think of it as an upgrade to your dog’s current probiotic routine! However, if you are giving your dog a probiotic for overall gut health or for health goals other than stool health, you can give your dog both GutWell and their current probiotic. Just be careful not to combine two GutWell products or a product very high in fiber with GutWell to avoid tummy troubles.
Q: Can I use GutWell with my dog’s current fiber supplement?
We always recommend consulting your veterinarian when it comes to combining fiber supplements.
Q: Can I give my dog multiple GutWell products?
We don’t recommend it. Each formula contains a precise dose of prebiotics, and combining them could cause stomach upset. Pick the one that best fits your dog’s main need—and if you want to do more, ask us about other Native Pet products!
Q: How do I know if my dog needs GutWell Power Poop?
If your dog is dealing with loose stools, diarrhea, or irregular bowel movements on a more than occasional basis, GutWell Power Poop can help transform their gut health to support healthy stool quality.
Q: How long does it take for GutWell Power Poop to start helping?
GutWell Power Poop works best with consistent use, and may take a few weeks to build up the full effect. Every dog is different and results may vary.
Q: Why is GutWell Power Poop in pellet form?
When using multiple strains of pre, pro and post biotics - we have to make sure these delicate ingredients stay viable. Many popular supplement formats use a lot of heat and processing- which can damage the delicate biotics. Instead, we cold press GutWell to keep the ingredients at their best.
Why not make it a powder or a chew? We wanted you to be able to give it easily, whether you want to give it at mealtime or at other times. We had so many active ingredients, they didn’t fit in air-dried chews
We didn’t find an existing format that would work, so we created it. We know it seems new/weird- but try it!
The new cold pressed format allows us to adhere to our brand promise of no fillers - because they are cold pressed we don’t have to use any starches, gums, or fillers to form the shape.
Q: What is the reasoning on why it's ok to combine The Daily (that has probiotics) with Gutwell?
For the most part, the GutWell probiotics provide benefits that are different from The Daily. It's generally safe to take different probiotics at once. Even for the ones that may have the same overlapping probiotics, the amounts should be safe for most dogs to take.

Q: What is pork plasma? Why does this have pork plasma? How much fat does the pork plasma contain? Is the pork plasma cooked or dehydrated?
Pork plasma is the portion of blood remaining after the removal of blood cells, and it can be further dried to become a versatile, protein rich ingredient beneficial for canine health. The proteins in dried plasma retain their biological activity, allowing antibodies and other bioactive peptides naturally present in blood to deliver their health benefits. Research has shown that plasma can support healthy digestion, decrease gut inflammation, and support immune function. Plasma can also act as a binder to help achieve desired shapes and forms of the Gut Boost supplements. In addition to that, plasma adds a flavor that dogs find appealing, making it easier for dogs to enjoy the benefits of Gut Boost supplements. Pork plasma is very lean, at just about 0.3% fat. It's dried and cooked.
