Product Overview
Q: What makes Probiotic Powder different from other products in the market?
Our Probiotic Powder formula is carefully crafted to provide long-term gut support with a combination of prebiotics (Pumpkin and Inulin) and probiotics (4 probiotic strains). What makes our Probiotic Powder different is the combination of probiotics and the amount of probiotics (6 Billion CFUs per scoop), which are targeted to provide long-term gut health. Most of our competitors include 4 Billion CFUs of probiotics or less. Also, because it is in powder form, it is easy to serve and does not require any heat in the manufacturing process, which preserves the integrity of the probiotic strains.
Q: Is it safe to use Probiotic Powder with other Native Pet supplements?
Yes! You can safely combine Probiotic Powder with any other Native Pet product. We always recommend starting with a lower serving and easing into the full serving when introducing new products to your dog’s diet and when combining new supplements.

Q: What results can I expect to see in my pup?
Our probiotic powder provides gentle relief for long-term gut health, sensitive stomach, new diets, and travel stress. As with any probiotic powders, some people report temporary changes in their dog's stool. This is normal when starting this product. We recommend easing into using full daily dosage of the product over the course of a week in order to gently introduce it to them. This should quickly resolve in about a week. You should see a more healthy gut after a couple of weeks of use, if not sooner.
Q: Will my dog like it/ what if my dog doesn’t like it?
Most dogs find the beef flavor of our Probiotic Powder to be very tasty.
Q: Can I give Probiotic Powder to my dog daily?

Our Probiotic Powder may help some dogs with coprophagia. However, we first recommend consulting a vet if your dog is experiencing coprophagia.
Q: Can I give the probiotic powder to my cat?
This is a commonly asked question! This product is safe for cats, but we always recommend consulting your vet since our products are formulated for dogs.
Q: What is the difference between Probiotic Powder and Pumpkin Powder?
Our pumpkin promotes digestive regularity and firm stool, so it provides gentle relief for diarrhea, upset stomach, loose stool, and constipation. The probiotic powder provides gentle relief for long-term gut health, sensitive stomach, new diets and travel stress.
Q: Can I freeze or bake the Probiotic Powder to make treats?
Freezing will not affect the efficacy of the probiotic powder. Baking, however, will kill the majority of the probiotic strains.
Q: Can I mix this with water?
Once mixed with water, we recommend either feeding or freezing the mixture right away.
Serving Suggestions
Q: At what age can I start giving my dog Probiotic Powder?
We recommend Probiotic Powder for any dog over 3 months old.
Q: How much Probiotic Powder do I give my dog?
We recommend one scoop for every 50lbs of body weight. A 10lbs dog would receive one scoop. A 40lbs dog would receive one scoop. A 60lbs dog would receive two scoops. We always recommend easing into the full serving size during the first week. Sprinkle over food at mealtime, or mix well with water and serve immediately, since the probiotics activate as soon as they encounter moisture. When mixing with water, add 0.5 TBSP to 1/8 cup of water, or 1 TBSP of powder to 1/4 cup of water.
