Product Overview
Q: What do Relief Chews do and how do they work?
Relief Chews contain green-lipped mussels, polyphenols, turmeric, and black pepper extract, which are all anti-inflammatory ingredients. These ingredients promote flexibility and mobility and support a healthy inflammatory response.
Q: What makes Relief Chews different from other products in the market?
Our chews are the only air-dried, meat-based supplements in the market, so it’s a very palatable and nutritious product compared to our competitors. Our Relief chews also contain more than 30% active ingredients in the final product.
Q: What is an air-dried chew and how is it different from a soft chew?
Air-dried chews are Native Pet’s answer to the industry-wide soft chew problem. They are made with real chicken, four active ingredients, zero fillers, and no artificial flavoring. These high-quality, single-source protein-based supplements are made by air-drying meat through a gentle process that removes moisture while preserving the active ingredients, nutritional integrity, and flavor without artificial preservatives or additives. In contrast, soft chews are highly processed, starch-based, and often contain artificial flavorings and fillers that don’t provide nutritional value and may even be harmful over time.
Q: Is it safe to use Relief Chews with other Native Pet supplements?
Yes! You can safely give Relief Chews with any other Native Pet product. We always recommend starting with a lower serving and easing into the full serving when introducing new products to your dog’s diet and when combining new supplements.
Q: Do you recommend pairing Relief Chews with any other products?
We recommend taking our quiz to find your dog’s personalized routine (+ you’ll get $5 off!)
Q: What flavor is a Relief Chew?
Our Relief Chews are made with real chicken, which is the most palatable way to deliver highly efficacious active ingredients to dogs. While other hip+joint products have to be used with pill pockets or pill wraps, our product is sure to have high palatability/acceptance to deliver the ingredients your dog needs.
Q: Who formulated Relief Chews?
All Native Pet supplements are formulated in collaboration with Board-certified veterinarians.
Q: What’s the difference between Relief Chews and Hip+Joint Chews?
Hip +Joint contains five more active ingredients that offer additional health benefits to your dog. While they both offer joint support, Hip+Joint contains ingredients such as zinc, hyaluronic acid, and chondroitin, which helps maintain cartilage integrity and reduce the risk of joint degeneration.
Q: How do I know if my dog needs Relief Chews?
If your dog is exhibiting symptoms of decreased mobility or visible stiffness, first we highly recommend consulting your vet. Supplementing your dog with our Relief Chews may help relieve some of these symptoms.
Q: How long does it take for Relief Chews to start helping?
Relief Chews work best with consistent use, and they may take a few weeks to build up their full effect. Every dog is different and results may vary.
Q: Why is it in chew form? Why is this product in an air-dried chew format?
While powders are the most efficacious format for most formulas, Relief Chews contain several active ingredients that are best-delivered to your pup in chew form. We use high-quality meat as a carrier for all the active ingredients to combine palatability with efficacy.
Q: What is an air-dried chew?
Air-dried chews are Native Pet’s answer to the industry-wide soft chew problem. While soft chews are highly-processed and full of unnecessary fillers that are bad for your dog, an air-dried chew is a high-quality, single-source-protein-based supplement for dogs made by air-drying meat or fish without the use of artificial preservatives or additives. Air-drying is a gentle process that removes moisture from the meat while preserving its nutritional integrity and flavor. Invented by Native Pet in 2021, these natural supplements are often favored by pet owners seeking wholesome, minimally processed nutrition for their dogs.
Q: What’s the difference between a soft chew and an air-dried chew?
Soft chews are starch-based, packed with gums and oils, artificially flavored, and contain 12+ ingredients. Air-dried chews are made with real chicken, no artificial flavoring, zero fillers, and only 4 inactive ingredients. The gentle air-drying process naturally preserves the active ingredients, maintaining optimal taste and texture for dogs.
