Q: Who formulated Sockeye Salmon Oil?

Sockeye Salmon Oil is a single-ingredient product, formulated by nature. We believe that some products are most effective in their purest, most natural form. To deliver incredible benefits to dogs, we kept it simple-using only wild-caught sockeye salmon. Not only does it offer a superior nutritional profile, but it’s also a more sustainable choice. Unlike farmed fish, which often have lower nutritional value, wild sockeye salmon provides the highest quality omegas to support your dog’s health.

Q: What is the difference between Omega Oil and Sockeye Salmon Oil? How do I decide between the two?

Our Sockeye Salmon Oil is a single-source, single-origin fish oil with high levels of Astaxanthin, which is a powerhouse antioxidant that helps support cells & immune function. Sockeye Salmon Oil also provides higher levels of EPA and DHA compared with Omega Oil. Omega Oil has wild-caught salmon, wild-caught pollock, wheat germ oil and biotin, which makes it a formula that has great benefits for shinier hair and better skin health. Both products have full Omega Fatty Acid profiles (3, 6 and 9), are sustainably sourced, and have that natural fish taste that dogs love!

Q: How do I know if my dog needs this?

If your dog exhibits any signs of dry skin, dull coat, joint issues, or allergies, our Sockeye Salmon Oil may help address these issues.

Q: Why is this product in this format?

Our Sockeye Salmon Oil format is easy to dispense and mix with your dog’s food. This liquid form also enhances the absorption of essential fatty acids and biotin, making them more bioavailable compared to other forms like capsules or powders.

We highly recommend easing into the full recommended serving size whenever adding new products to your dog’s diet. That being said, we always recommend reaching out to your veterinarian if you notice any changes in your dog’s health.

Q: Is it in the triglyceride form or ethyl ester form?

Our Sockeye Salmon Oil product contains wild-caught fish oil with minimal processing (i.e. cold pressing, filtration of solid fish parts). The triglyceride form is the natural form that fish oil is found in fish. However, our product may contain some trace amounts of ethyl ester forms that are inherent to the production process. This is typical for all wild-caught fish oil processing.
