What do they do?
Our yak chews are a super dense cheese sticks that will occupy your dog for hours, if not days. They are a great alternative to rawhide.
What are the ingredients?
Yak's Milk, Cow's Milk, Salt, Lime
Any soy, gluten, or other artificial ingredients?
Nope! They are clean label, gently processed, and protein rich.
Where is it made?
Our yak chews are made in Nepal.
How do I feed it to my dog?
Take a yak chew out of the packaging and give to your dog just like you would with a bone or chew toy. Bite, chew, repeat. Supervision is advised. Large pieces or cracked fragments may present a choking hazard.
What is the serving size?
We recommend giving one yak chew per day, max.
How many servings in a canister?
There are three yak chews per pouch for our Medium, Large, and Extra Large sizes. There are five chews per pouch for our Small size.
Can I see the guaranteed analysis?
The guaranteed analysis is as follows:
Crude Protein (min): 67%
Crude Fat (min): 0.9%
Moisture (max): 11%
Ash (max): 6.1%
What is the "ash" component I see in the guaranteed analysis?
The ash component in the ingredient analysis is not what you might expect. It represents the total inorganic minerals found in a product, which is determined by incinerating the product and measuring the remaining matter. Crazy, right?
Rest assured, we do not add ash to our products. As it relates to our product, if you were to incinerate 100 grams of the bone broth topper, you would be left with 5.3 grams (max) of ash.
My yak chews came broken into pieces. Can I get a replacement?
Our yak chews can sometimes break in-transit depending on how the product is handled. We do hear this happens from time to time, and we always make sure our customers get what they ordered. Please reach out to [email protected] with your order number and details and we'll replace your order!
What do I do with the small pieces leftover at the end of the chew?
You can puff them up into a nice treat in the microwave!
1. Sneak the leftover end piece away from your dog
2. Microwave for 45 seconds
3. Let cool for 1 minute
4. Toss your dog a crunchy treat
How do I store the yak chews?
Store at room temperature and do not expose to direct sunlight. If exposed to moisture, it may cause mold or affect product quality.
The tamper seal was broken when my order arrived. What should I do?
If the safety seal is broken or missing, do not use. Please reach out to [email protected] with your order number and we'll send you a replacement. All our products come with a tamper seal and we cannot guarantee products with a broken seal.
My dog doesn’t like them. What should I do?
